Allied Divisions This information came out of a booklet put together to celebrate the 85th Anniversary of the AC Rochester Division in 1993. In reality it was the celebration of AC in Flint which had taken over control of Rochester Products in 1988, just as it took over control of much of Delco-Remy in 1994. Of the 48 pages in the Anniversary booklet only the two below are dedicated to the Rochester portion of AC Rochester. I was able to obtain this booklet from the lady that was the security guard at the visitor entrance to the Flint East Engineering Center for many years. She was aware of my interest in industrial history and gave me this information just before Flint East Engineering closed and she lost her job with many others in the Delphi Meltdown in 2008.
